Pop Christmas at the MACBA

We invite you to discover how, in the mid-sixties, artists began to bridge the gap between art and life by introducing everyday objects into their works.

In these Christmas workshops we will examine how the fascination with advertising, technology and contemporary machines, as well as with popular culture and comics, influenced the work of a number of artists. The workshop-visit will end with a participatory project that will try to uncover our own narrative concerning the world around us.
