Gilbert Fastenaekens has participated in various European photographic campaigns since the 1980s, such as the DATAR (1984-1988). She participated in the ‘survey’ at ‘Quaderns’ in 1990. The most complete monograph of his work is In Silence. Gilbert Fastenaekens (CFC Editions, Brussels, 2015), published on the occasion of his retrospective exhibition at Le Botanique, Brussels, in 2015. He lives between Brussle and Bouillon, Belgium.
