Laia Abril is a multidisciplinary artist working with photography, text, video and sound. Her work focuses on feminist research projects about sexuality, misogyny and eating disorders. In 2019, she presented an exhibition about abortion at the Fundación Foto Colectania. She won the 2023 Ministry of Culture’s National Photography prize. She lectures at the Hochschule Luzern (HSLU). She lives between Lucerne and Barcelona.
