Raquel Friera is an artist. A graduate in Economics and Fine Arts, her projects combine a critical view of the economy, gender awareness, and historical re-readings with an interest in themes such as work and the production of subjectivities. In recent years she has exhibited her work at CentroCentro (Madrid), MUSAC (León), Casal Solleric (Palma de Mallorca), Fundació Antoni Tàpies (Barcelona), La Virreina Centre de la Imatge (Barcelona), MUAC (Mexico) and Museo Nacional Reina Sofía (Madrid), among others. Together with Xavier Bassas, she founded the Instituto del Tiempo Suspendido.
