Artists in residence. Edition 2020
The 2020 Artists in residence call – a joint programme run by La Casa Encendida, CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo and MACBA – is being extended, as their calendar has been affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the next Artists in residence has been postponed until June 2021.
Since the residency period of the artists selected for the previous call was interrupted, and in order for them to complete it as satisfactorily as possible, while also upholding our commitment to what is established in the rules, we are extending the period of the current open call and postponing the next Artists in residence until June 2021.
La Casa Encendida, CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo and MACBA will continue to support, especially in these difficult times, artists involved in performing arts. We will continue to work – adapting to the security measures marked by the development of the pandemic – to encourage creation and research which centres on performative work with the body.
