Dissabtes MACBA presents Troposphere

The troposphere is the layer of the atmosphere that contains the air we breathe. It is the layer closest to the Earth, where air circulates, changes and undergoes reactions. Troposphere is also a series of videos in which we share a conversation with individuals, groups and communities who have made the museum their own, inhabiting the building in a variety of different ways.
Every Saturday, from 4pm, entry to the museum is free. You can visit the exhibitions, explore the Collection and take part in all our activities. A space open to all, a meeting point, a moment when different perspectives all come together, connected by contemporary art.
In this second chapter we listen to carles Yagüez and nara is neus from the dublabBCN community radio. A speaker of innovative and experimental proposals that functions as a diffuser of sound creation and is an active part of the city’s cultural agenda, and that weaves a local network.

Georgina, Guim, Lennart, Marc, Sergi, Simbiat and Uri are a group of young musicians studying at the Raval Musicians’ Workshop. In a short space of time, they’ve learned to create shared artistic spaces, about the importance of belonging to a community, and the need to transgress to take their art further. They discuss all of this and more during a Saturday afternoon visit to MACBA.
