From productivism to semi-capitalism through factography
Marianne Márquez Blanco’s research project is part of MACBA’s Independent Studies Programme (PEI), specifically the Political Imagination sessions. It focuses on the search for correlations between aspects of the productivist legacy of the Russian-Soviet avant-garde and current artistic practices, together with the role played by the digital image in the production of subjectivity in the context of today’s ‘semio-capitalism’, following the ideas of Franco ‘Bifo’ Berardi.
