INTERNSHIPS
INTERNSHIPS
At MACBA, we give you the opportunity to intern with us as you complete your education through an agreement with your school or university. As a MACBA intern, you’ll get a first-hand look at the Museum, and you’ll get to know the reality of employment in the cultural sector. 
You can work in one of MACBA’s specialized departments: Exhibits, Collection, Publications, Public Programs, MACBA Research and Documentation Centre, Production, Restauration, Registration, Audio-Visuals, Architecture, Accounting, Information Systems, Human Resources, Press, and Communication and Marketing. 

FAQ Public Open Calls

Applications are not accepted by email. They must be presented through the Electronic Office.

In this first phase it is not necessary to send the originals. Please send photocopies of the relevant documents/certificates(note: it is NOT necessary to have them attested).

No, the curriculum vitae can be in any style.

The official list of those accepted and rejected will be published on the web once the deadline for the receipt of applications has expired.

There will be a period of 10 working days from the publication of the provisional list to present any documentation through the Electronic Office.

The final list of applications accepted and rejected will be published on the MACBA website once the deadline for claims and other incidents has expired.

The accepted candidates will be evaluated according to the criteria published in the guidelines of the open call. Subsequently, those candidates best fitting the profile will be requested to attend a personal interview and any other tests considered appropriate.
